Criteria to be a Nominee Agent
Minimum Requirements
To be a general insurance agent, one must fulfill and satisfy the following requirements:
- You must:
- be at least 18 years of age;
- be a Malaysia citizen; and
- possess a minimum SPM with 5 credits or higher qualification.
- You must possess these professional qualifications:
- Pass the Pre-Contract Examination for Insurance Agents (PCEIA), Part A & Part B which are conducted by The Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII), or Takaful Basic Examination (TBE)
